§1
This is a public and voluntary auction. All purchases are made at buyer's risk. |
§2
All bids are accepted via the Internet at the auction site, after entering the customer number and access code, in safe encrypted code. |
§3
All transactions are to be made in US dollars. |
§4
For each lot there is a current bid amount displayed. |
§5
The Lots marked "traditional auction" are those placed by other auctioneers and auction houses. The Lots marked "Internet auction" are those placed by Polphilamart. The bidding conditions of the "traditional auction" lots are made under the auctioneers' and auction houses' discretion. Each lot will have a description of the conditions on which one may bid on. The transactions for these lots are made between the customer and the auction house. Polphilamart is an agent between the two parties. Therefore, Polphilamart is not responsible for the conditions the auctioneer or auction house has placed for their lots. |
§6
The bidding steps are as follows:
| from $0.00 | to $50.00 | $1.00 | | from $50.01 | to $100.00 | $2.00 | | from $100.01 | to $200.00 | $3.00 | | from $200.01 | to $500.00 | $5.00 | | from $500.01 | to $1,000.00 | $10.00 | | over $1,000.01 | $25.00 |
In each case the next minimum bid is suggested automatically. |
§7
The highest bidder is obligated by his offer to accept the lot. The bidder must make his/her payment within 14 days of recieving the auction invoice. The purchased lot is delivered to the buyer upon full settlement of the purchase. |
§8
All the lots are described with greatest care and to the best of our knowledge. Failure to understand the description in Polish will not be considered a justified reason for the highest bidder to refuse to accept a lot. Bidders who are unable to read Polish can submit inquiries in English or German during the auction. Accumulated lots and collections cannot be subject of any claim. |
§9
All lots in the catalogue are shown in digital photographs. At
express request we can send additional digital photographs, copies of
certificates, or descriptions. These are the only ways the lots can be examined
via the internet. |
§10
Claims due to physical defects or faults must be submitted within 14 days from receipt of the lot in question. |
§11
The auction catalogue quotes the latest Fischer and Michel catalogue numbering. Symbols are explained separately. |
